We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing automated tests using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber, with a focus on Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) approach.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automated tests, ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. This includes working across the full testing spectrum, from UI and API testing to database validation, within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:">

  • Develop and maintain automated tests using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber, following the BDD approach">
  • Work across the full testing spectrum, including UI, API, and database testing">
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the software development lifecycle">
  • Identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve coverage">
  • Recommend and implement improvements to test automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript">
Requirements:">

  • Extensive experience in test automation using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber">
  • Proficiency in Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber & Gherkin">
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in testing APIs and web services">
  • Experience in Accessibility testing and Visual testing using Playwright">
  • Proficient in backend testing, including familiarity with databases and SQL querying">
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX commands and log verifications">
  • Experience testing RESTful services using Playwright or similar frameworks">
  • Automation first approach mindset">
  • Effective interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with all stakeholders">
  • Attention to detail and highly organised">
