Aortic stenosis affects millions worldwide, yet it remains under-diagnosed and under-treated. Transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) offers patients a life-changing solution by providing heart valve replacement without open-heart surgery.

Your Role
  • You will develop clinical education materials related to clinical investigations, sharing expertise and insights on devices, procedures, and protocols throughout their life cycle.
  • You will certify centers, physicians, and staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  • You will interact with key opinion leaders and proctors.
  • You will provide comprehensive education on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • You will develop and improve training curriculum, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experience and company guidelines.
  • You will conduct business intelligence analysis.
  • You will train physicians and hospital staff on technical matters related to products and procedures.
  • You will ensure continuity of education and technical support during commercial procedures.
  • You will plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts in partnership with Sales and Sales Management.
  • You will up-sell in key strategic accounts in conjunction with Business Managers.
  • You will validate software and hardware updates as applicable.
  • You will learn products, physiology, anatomy, market applications, and Edwards Lifesciences.
  • You will review clinical support activities, market changes, assigned accounts, and competitive activity with the NSM and Sales Specialist.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 years of previous medical device and/or clinical knowledge required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Training knowledge in a clinical/technical environment preferred.
  • Basic – intermediate English level required.
Additional Skills
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Moderate knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science.
  • Moderate understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Moderate understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability, and adverse events reporting.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects.
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements, taking adequate control measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
