Tuberculosis and Leprosy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our team in the area of Tuberculosis and Leprosy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infectious diseases epidemiology, public health interventions, and project development. He/she will be responsible for providing technical support to Member States, contributing to the development of strategies and initiatives aimed at addressing vulnerable populations, and fostering inter-programmatic collaboration between TB and other technical programs.
The selected candidate will work closely with national and subnational authorities, supporting PAHO/WHO technical cooperation actions with the Ministry of Health of Brazil, and contributing to the development and implementation of public policies on Tuberculosis and Leprosy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A bachelor's degree in a health science or in any other field related to the functions of the position, from a recognized university.
- Five years of national experience working in infectious diseases epidemiology and public health and practical experience in the surveillance, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and control of TB and Leprosy.
