The role of a Financial Operations Associate involves ensuring the efficient and secure management of treasury and financial operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Treasury Management: The candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily cash balances, preparing liquidity forecasts, and supporting optimization of working capital and daily treasury operations.
  • Financial Analysis: The successful applicant will develop and maintain financial models for cash flow, funding, and scenario planning. They will conduct variance analyses and provide insights to senior management.
  • Cross-Border Payments: Support will be provided to execute and reconcile cross-border payments, liaison with partner banks, and assist in evaluating and onboarding new financial partners.
  • Data Management: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and consistent treasury and financial data, automating recurring reporting tasks, and ensuring systems and spreadsheets are structured and auditable.
  • Compliance Support: Collaboration will be required with compliance and legal teams to ensure treasury operations meet regulatory standards, track changes in regulations, and prepare documentation for audits.
  • Stakeholder Management: The Financial Operations Associate will partner with operations, compliance, and legal teams to support end-to-end financial processes and act as the point of contact for treasury-related queries.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial operations, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments.
  • A strong background in STEM fields (engineering, economics, mathematics, finance).
  • Treasury experience, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and multi-bank environments.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and structured thinking.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-border environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, SPVs, or financial structuring is advantageous.
