The United Nations is seeking a highly skilled professional to develop a communication strategy for its Office for Partnerships and Civil Society.

Job Summary:

The consultancy will involve three primary tasks:

  • Design a comprehensive communication plan, including a Communication Strategy Work Plan.
  • Implement the communication plan, with regular progress reports on implementation.
  • Enhance the Office's presence and contribution in international forums and dialogue spaces related to climate change and sustainable development.

Key responsibilities include developing a strategic communications approach, creating engaging content, and fostering partnerships to amplify the Office's impact. The consultant will work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration and effective implementation.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in communication strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of climate change, sustainable development, and social responsibility principles.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual content creation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality communication strategies that drive engagement and results. They will be able to think creatively and strategically, and will have excellent project management skills.
