Expert Mainframe Support Specialist

This role requires a deep understanding of complex problems and potential future issues across multiple platforms and services. You'll work closely with key clients to identify opportunities for growth and modernization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and upgrading the Mainframe z/OS operating system and multi-vendor products installed within it.
  • Controlling user access and passwords.
  • Proposing and implementing systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

You'll also be responsible for:

  • Monitoring usage and performance.
  • Managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance.
  • Overseeing a queue of assignments and working directly with technicians to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues on the Mainframe z/OS Operating System and multi-vendor Products.
  • Leading projects to implement new solutions on the z/OS Operating System and ISV Products.
  • Excellent English communication skills to handle meetings with clients, partners, and coworkers.

Preferred qualifications include experience with data center migration projects and intermediate Spanish skills.
