Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Operations Specialist to join our team in Latin America. This role will provide a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on our mission, grow as a business leader, and help drive our growth strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the overall business experience for our Brazil and Mexico operations. This will involve providing key insights and recommendations for process improvements, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless employee experiences throughout the entire 'business journey'.

  • Be the primary point of contact for employee queries and provide timely responses.
  • Ensure all HR systems and employee records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and provide advice on Brazil and Mexico employment laws.
  • Conduct vendor administration and management with our medical insurance brokers.
  • Support our payroll specialist in ensuring all employee documents and leave requests are collected, uploaded, and approved in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison to our payroll vendor.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding tasks.
  • Communicate new and revised benefit and leave plans.
  • Maintain the digital information space for all Brazil-based and Mexico-based business operations information.
  • Coach and upskill Leads who need guidance on business relations matters.
  • Provide advice to leaders from other offices on Brazil and Mexico specific processes, systems, and benefit policies.

This role will give you the opportunity to contribute towards the bi-annual planning cycles, create continuous improvement within the team, maximize advisory impact and partnership, and grow as a leader.
