Transportation Logistics Manager

About the Role

The Transportation Logistics Manager will be responsible for selecting, training, and managing carrier relationship specialists. They will also be required to accumulate data from various sources, identify relevant data, and present it in a way that helps take action. Additionally, they will need to foresee implications based on current data and trends, take necessary actions, and be organized, apt, and prompt in notifying situations and updating the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, keeping in mind objectives, limits, conformance, and information privacy
  • Dive deep into operational issues root causes
  • Create and track operational metrics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent English and Portuguese language skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or similar
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a capability of setting priorities and working under pressure
  • Able to multi-task, managing multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail and high capability to work on different projects in parallel
  • SQL or other programming language skills
