Job Description

Our team is seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the development and support of Rare Disease strategies across Latin America. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and aligning comprehensive commercial and medical strategies to drive growth of the Rare Disease portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading business and medical initiatives across Latin America and will be able to develop and execute strategies that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the Rare Disease therapy area, including P&L management and strategy development, leading cross-functional LATAM teams to build strategic approaches and action plans for Rare Disease.
  • Represent LATAM in Global, IO, and regional CBTs, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify business and product opportunities within the region through market analysis and drive the execution of initiatives focused on process implementation across affiliates.
  • Provide marketing and medical insights for business discussions and align global teams with affiliates, supporting the launch process in TAs, ensuring proper planning and execution of strategic plans.
  • Provide decision support to LATAM management and the VP of Marketing and Medical.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Engineering, or any related area, with a cross-functional educational background or postgraduate (e.g. Finance / Marketing, Strategy / Sales/ Medical).
  • Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Commercial areas and transfunctional knowledge in Access, Medical, Clinical or marketing areas.
  • Proven experience as a people manager, leading teams.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong experience in rare diseases, oncology, or haematology is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge in the LATAM healthcare market and government landscape is an asset.
