About the Role

Kapsch Trafficcom América Latina is a leading provider of intelligent transportation systems, and we're seeking an experienced Inventory Lead to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing our global inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking, and implementing efficient procedures to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for all inventory-related matters, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory levels across all stocking locations, ensuring timely recording of movements and implementing processes to ensure compliance with global inventory management policies.
  3. Collaborate with the Projects and Operational procurement team to optimize inventory management, identifying opportunities for cost savings through efficient inventory management.
  4. Interface with regional leadership to review inventory reporting, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to reduce excess inventory.
  5. Develop and distribute reporting on regional inventory trends, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with regional leadership to review inventory performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  7. Coordinate and manage cycle count audit results, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy.
  8. Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of inventory data.
  9. Be the key interface for external inventory audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, and warehousing, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  2. Experience in purchasing and supply chain management, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  3. Technical studies, with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain, logistics, administration) preferred.
  4. Advanced level of Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  5. ERP management experience, with knowledge of Navision or similar systems.
  6. Upper intermediate or higher level of English language proficiency.
