Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess foundational knowledge in ABAP for troubleshooting and third-party solutions such as Open Text/IXOS, FileNet, and Cloud configurations, including hands-on experience and user support.
  • Collaborate with business process owners and IT departments for the analysis, blueprinting, and implementation of Data Archiving Objects, including archiving storage and retrieval.
  • Design, develop, and configure SAP ILM applications to fulfill business process and application requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in SAP archiving configurations and processes, with the ability to comprehend reporting needs.
  • Experience in preparing test plans, conducting integration testing, and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for archiving in SAP.
  • Facilitate demonstrations and guide users through UAT for both archiving and reporting functionalities.
  • Drive change initiatives through effective change management processes.
  • Exhibit flexibility and analytical skills in a problem-solving context.
  • Troubleshooting system performance issues is advantageous.
  • Possess strong analytical capabilities, experience in resolving practical challenges, and the ability to engage cross-functional teams towards consensus.

Qualifications:

  • Solid foundation in SAP Basis with experience in data archiving.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Proficient in SAP data archiving (SARA), ILM, DART, SAP Content Server, OpenText, and SAP IQ.
  • Knowledgeable in ILM Data Archiving, including ILM destruction, DART, SAP Content Server, ABAP, and third-party solutions such as OpenText/IXOS, FileNet, and Cloud configurations, with hands-on experience and user support.
  • Practical experience in migrating to SAP Data Archiving across various SAP versions.
  • Functional expertise in one or more application components, such as Data Tiering/Native Storage Extension.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA or ECC in at least one functional module.
  • Technical proficiency in Basis, NetWeaver, Dual-Stack, etc.
  • Experience with SAP HANA database is a plus.
  • Strong functional skills in Financial Accounting/Controlling (FI/CO) and Logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
