Job Title: Operation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated Operation Coordinator to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive Company. This role will effectively lead the Making production area, drive continuous improvement, and guarantee all good manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the quality and efficiency of the production department, ensuring high levels of service to the Liquids Department.
  • Management of personnel strategies, including staffing, shift scheduling, and training to meet business needs.
  • Manage Production team in 3 shifts for Home and Personal Care.
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures for staffing, shift schedule, vacation scheduling, and training.
  • Manage the development and implementation of daily activities to ensure high performance of the team and equipment.
  • Manage materials inventory for making area.
  • Manage the receiving and material analysis area.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements in Making area and activities.
  • Support the implementation of projects assigned to the area, including Funding the Growth (FTG), Reimagined Strategy Projects, Capital Equipment Budget (CEB), and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate and implement the local Supply Chain vision, mission, strategy, and objectives within the plant.
  • Ensure effective communication within the teams.
  • Empower team members through training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation.
  • Accountable for adhering to CP, local, and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality, and Regulatory.
  • Be a facilitator/sponsor of the line or autonomous groups of the plant.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Mechanics, Chemical, or Materials Engineer, or related field.
  • Solid experience in production.
  • Solid experience in a similar business field.
  • Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Advanced English.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (docs, slides, sheets).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP system.
  • Experience with WCM (World Class Manufacturing).
  • Knowledge and experience with liquids making in a similar category.
