About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our accounting department and oversee daily operations. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of 5 people, ensuring the quality and integrity of financial reconciliations, and implementing a new system for efficient processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and execute daily accounting routines.
  • Coordinate the monthly closing process.
  • Prepare managerial reports and balance sheet analyses.
  • Review and verify financial reconciliations.
  • Monitor fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies between physical and accounting records.
  • Process and reconcile CMV versus standard costs.
  • Calculate weighted average cost.
  • Conduct reconciliations between LCGAAP and USGAAP.
  • Maintain accounting KPIs and support internal controls.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Update processes and procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Active CRC certification.
  • Advanced English skills (communication, writing, reading).
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or coordinator.
  • Hands-on management style with ability to lead a team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Brazilian CPCs.
  • Experience in multinational companies.
  • Background in product-based companies (imported products are a plus).
  • Knowledge of cost management and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in calculating Brazilian average cost (standard vs. average is a plus).
  • Experience with internal and external audits.
  • Knowledge of USGAAP.
  • Experience with SAP (excluding SAP Business One).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
