Job Description:The successful candidate will design platforms, servers, and technologies that enable global service delivery.
This position oversees the installation, configuration, testing, and support of robust IBM Power infrastructure ensuring continuous system tuning and analysis.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in software and hardware-driven technology utilizing best practices and embracing new ideas to manage the IBM Power infrastructure effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing tailored solutions to meet project requirements
- Testing infrastructure performance and verifying successful outcomes
- Managing the installation, configuration, testing, and support of robust IBM Power infrastructure
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Unix Shell scripts, Python, and Ansible automation
- Experience handling IBM Power hardware and related products
- Expertise in AIX Operating System Maintenance, PowerVM, VIOS, Power Firmware, and HMC Maintenance
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
- Technical writing and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
