Job Title: Corporate Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

As a Corporate Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into alleged violations of our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. You will analyze the details of each case and develop a work plan to ensure promptness, confidentiality, impartiality, and objectivity. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting internal investigations into allegations of misconduct;
  • Developing and implementing investigation plans;
  • Ensuring that investigations are conducted consistently with best practices and core investigative standards;
  • Reviewing transactional, documentary, and electronic file evidence (e-Discovery);
  • Performing background checks and investigative interviews;
  • Preparing reports based on Brookfield's Conduct & Ethics investigation protocols;
  • Communicating project status to Internal Audit Management, identifying potential issues and developing solutions to minimize their impact.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Experience in fraud investigation, internal audit, or risk management;
  • Advanced English language proficiency;
  • Ability to travel for business purposes;
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification desirable;
  • Knowledge of forensic tools and methodologies, such as Intella, Nuix, FTK;
  • Excellent written communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with various stakeholders;
  • Investigative skills, including attention to detail, discretion, good judgment, and knowledge of established investigative techniques;
  • Ability to manage large datasets, analyze information, and compile reports.
