Senior Legal Director

  • We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Legal Director to lead our legal function in the Latin America & Caribbean region. This role will oversee the day-to-day legal aspects of our business, including overseeing tower real estate holdings, managing ground lease arrangements, and ensuring compliance with local laws.
  • This position requires a strong understanding of corporate and real estate law, preferably in the telecommunications and/or tower industry. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required, along with a law degree from an accredited university and licensure to practice law in the country of residence.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to manage cross-functional projects, and possess highly polished negotiation, communication, and drafting skills. They should also be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of legal aspects of business operations in CALA, including negotiations, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Management of outside counsels and provision of effective advice on company strategies.
  • Collaboration with global legal teams to implement best practices and ensure consistency in legal standards.
  • Leadership of a team of experienced lawyers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal best practices.

Requirements

  • Law degree (JD equivalent) from an accredited university.
  • Licensure to practice law in the country of residence.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate and real estate law, preferably in the telecommunications and/or tower industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
