Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

Job Description:

A Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences by supporting the Housekeeping and Laundry teams. This involves analyzing guest requests, delegating tasks to team members, and ensuring that work is done efficiently and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be able to monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork. They will provide excellent guest service, actively work on availability and release of rooms for Guest Service, and manage the controls of the Housekeeping department.

The Housekeeping Attendant will also be responsible for checking daily the guest information in CRM and ensuring that the preferences and requests of the same are met on time. They will request flowers for special occasions and provide embroidery for special linen. Additionally, they will control makes monthly Lost and Found and donations, check the uniforms, and send them for cleaning and/or repair.

The ideal candidate will have planning and organizing skills, good oral and written communication, previous experience in Laundry, and proficiency in computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office. They should also demonstrate commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness.
