Our client is a Multinational company, strengthening its presence in Brazil and willing to build a strong team in a startup project.

Type of Requisition: Permanent employee – Reporting to Country Manager – Brazil

Marketing Manager

**Primary Responsibilities:**

  1. Developing new business opportunities in Brazil across various commodity segments, including Iron Ore, Manganese Ore, Coal/Coke, and Fertilizers.
  2. Generating repeat orders from existing clients and fostering long-term relationships.

**Specific Responsibilities:**

  1. Drive business growth in Brazil and explore new markets.
  2. Identify and develop new customers, leveraging strong network connections with major industry players.
  3. Ensure timely payment collections and maintain a healthy cash flow.
  4. Assist in retaining existing customers and expanding business relationships.
  5. Collaborate with the Country Manager and Business Group in HQ, India on pricing, credit policy, service deliverables, and contracting with customers.
  6. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  7. Prepare and analyze marketing and sales-related MIS (management information system) reports.
  8. Provide strategic input to the Country Manager and Business Groups in HQ, India on marketing strategy and business expansion.
  9. Perform other duties as entrusted by the management.

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

  1. **Technical Skills and Characteristics:**
  • Must come from a Science background.
  • Engineering degree is desirable.
  • Knowledge of technical service sales to the mining industry.
  • Strong network connections with major industry players.
**Behavioral Traits:**
  • Strong leadership skills with entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships within the industry.
  • Ability to handle frustrations and setbacks in sales prospecting.
  • Long-term focus and commitment to the company's culture.

To succeed in this role, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

**Language Requirements:**

Fluent English is required. CVs in Portuguese will not be considered.
