Medical Affairs Manager
  • About the Role: We are seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading, directing and supporting activities that will bring about changes in clinical practice to support the increased adoption of key products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Wound, Ostomy and/ or Continence care therapeutic landscape, with a strong understanding of medical regulations and clinical trial design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the Medical Affairs strategy by driving robust KOL management strategies
  • Foster strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across LATAM
  • Facilitate KOL engagements in Med Affairs initiatives including key Advisory Boards
  • Provide high quality, clinical insight-driven medical and scientific expertise
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies and other relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a strategy outlining key evidence and publication requirements
  • Clinical case compendiums for LATAM
  • Steering Medical Education & Training
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive medical education plan
  • Evidence Generation Strategy and Execution

The successful candidate will have a degree in nursing – Wound and Ostomy Care or equivalent, and experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics industry.

Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Wound, Ostomy and/ or Continence care therapeutic landscape
  • Strong understanding of medical regulations and clinical trial design
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and written skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences
  • Experience in scientific communication, including publications, conference presentations, and medical education
