Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned quantity surveyor to play a crucial role in managing costs from inception to completion.

This key member of our construction projects team will possess strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports;
  • Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments;
  • Managing project costs and monitoring expenditures;
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers;
  • Preparing tender and contract documentation;
  • Tracking changes to the design and adjusting budget projections accordingly;
  • Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
  • Providing advice on procurement strategies;
  • Ensuring legal and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle;
Requirements:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field;
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a quantity surveying role;
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations;
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar);
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities;
  • RICS or equivalent professional membership is an advantage;
