Benefits Services Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Benefits Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional benefits services to our clients.
- Execute established benefits processes and seek guidance from senior analysts as needed.
- Research and respond to intermediate participant issues, including eligibility, calculation errors, and service delivery.
- Triage intermediate system issues to confirm adherence to requirements.
- Perform peer review on work completed by other peers.
- Interface with external client contacts to resolve day-to-day benefit questions.
- Review benefit reports, determine action required, and provide direction to team members.
- Identify system and process enhancements to improve process efficiencies.
- Mentor and coach junior members.
- Requires formal education and relevant expertise in a professional, sales, or technical area.
- Performs technical-based activities.
- Contributes to and manages projects.
- Uses deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations.
- Interfaces with and influences key stakeholders.
- Leverages previous knowledge and expertise to achieve results.
- Ability to complete work self-guided.
- College or university degree required.
- Knowledge and experience in own field.
- Will acquire higher-level knowledge and skills.
- Develops an understanding of the company, processes, and customers.
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
