Electronic Security Systems Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled installation technician to install, service and test electronic security systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and wire specified alarm system devices including motion detectors, keypads and controls.
  • Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly and in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Use multimeters for volt and ohm readings and circuit analysis.
  • Hook up RJ31X to specified panel mountings of devices such as motion detectors, keypads and controls.
  • Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
  • Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific alarm system installed works.

As an installation technician, you will collaborate with clients, coworkers and our central monitoring station to provide excellent service and ensure safe and proper installation of alarm systems and devices.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and submission to pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
  • Must obtain necessary licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry.
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Must have mathematical skills and knowledge of fire and electrical codes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and possess essential company values.
