Job Title: Regional Training Manager

The Regional Training Manager will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of allocated Pedros stores. This role involves managing a team of skilled trainers and ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training sessions on food preparation and service as per Pedros' Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support, mentor, and upskill trainees and new employees
  • Promote efficiency and improve skills of employees
  • Keep attendance and training records and registers
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas of improvement
  • Provide daily updates on training areas completed in-store
  • Work within a team to drive the restaurant/take-away forward
  • Assist in new store openings by supporting teams through mentoring and coaching
  • Assist the Training Department with ad-hoc training tasks and projects within Pedros
  • Deliver presentations to the target audience for all Pedros Training Modules and SOPs
  • Sign off Manager Trainees throughout the region
  • Must be able to work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, with peak days 12pm to 8pm, and stay out at outlying stores for 10 days or more for new store openings or urgent store training support
  • Track daily reports posted on WhatsApp groups from Manager & Skill Trainers, raising concerns as they arise
  • Take charge of GP & GRV training/trouble shooting for new and existing stores
  • Post the training team roster on the training platform by latest 12pm every Saturday
  • Have full accountability of the training team within the RTM group
  • Coordinate new store staff quantities, training stores, weekly training updates, and complete sign-offs one week before store opening, with POE filed
Requirements:
  • Restaurant and Fast Food Service experience, minimum 10 years required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Be prepared to go the extra mile
  • Must be computer literate and able to write professional reports from time to time
  • Must have own reliable vehicle and mobile phone
  • Good GP/COS/GRV knowledge
  • Internal applications must have completed all Station Training/Staff Development Program, Supervisor Course, and Manager Development Program to be considered for this position
Technical Experience:
  • Experienced in designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, supporting, or operating a particular technology or related application, product, or service
  • GAAP/MICROS knowledge
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and travel to sites
