We're a group of dedicated and skilled professionals who contribute to segment strategies and are active members of the global network responsible for selecting suppliers and securing the best performance.

You'll be based out of Curitiba and report to the Head of North America/South America Collaboration Purchasing, with a dotted line to the Head of Sheet Metal and Fasteners of North America.

This is your mission

As a buyer responsible for Fasteners, you'll lead purchasing activities on your scope with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction. You'll negotiate supplier performance under your segments.

You'll perform purchasing activities related to ordering, logistics, and financial flows to suppliers. It's crucial to work with your North American Engineering and global Purchasing counterparts to drive current supplier performance to defined targets while researching market trends and engaging potential new suppliers in feasibility discussions.

  • A professional with experience in purchasing and negotiation within supplier relationships
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Proven negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, agile in your approach
  • A positive attitude, service-minded, and target-oriented approach
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose
  • A strong team player with leadership abilities
  • The ability to be open-minded, encourage collaboration, and add value with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Motivated by change management and the ability to drive change
  • A university degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Multicultural experience
  • A willingness to travel occasionally.
