Latin America Investment Analyst

Are you looking for a challenging career opportunity in investment analysis?
We are currently recruiting for a full-time position to join our Direct Equity Investments Latin America team, based in São Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will play a significant role in evaluating and executing new investments in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and execute new investments in Latin America
- Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities across multiple industries
- Conduct due diligence work on industries and companies and develop investment theses
- Build dynamic financial models and analyses to assess performance and outlook of investment opportunities
- Perform valuation work to estimate the value of target companies and investment returns
- Prepare internal memorandums and present recommendations to investment committees
- Execute new investments in coordination with internal departments, external advisors, and counterparties
- Assist in the review and negotiation of transaction agreements and other legal documentation
- At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
- Deep knowledge of financial modeling and valuation
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively
- Business judgment, financial acumen, and passion for evaluating investment opportunities
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree
- High levels of academic performance and intellectual curiosity
- Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese; Spanish is considered an asset
