About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Specialist to join our team.

  • As a key member of our Turbomachinery & Process Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing direction and assistance to work groups in order to meet assigned objectives.

You will provide technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, safe handling, and installation of products.

This includes on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction, training in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.

In addition, you will assist customers in scheduling maintenance and workload assuring that equipment and parts requirements meet established schedules.

You will also supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components.

The successful candidate will lead and execute unit start-up and performance tests.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical in Mechanical is required.
  • Experience in field service or maintenance position in turbomachinery equipment (GE equipment) is necessary.
  • You must be able to understand and implement technical drawings (Mechanical drawings, P&ID, General Arrangement, etc.).
  • Experience in maintenance procedures for Aero Derivative Gas turbines and their auxiliaries is required.
  • Leading people and crews for site activities is a vital part of this role.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese is essential.
  • Travel is required (up to 80% travel required on-offshore).
