We are seeking a dedicated Genomics Technical Consultant to support our initiatives across Brazil and the South LATAM region.

As a Technical Consultant at SOPHiA GENETICS, you will play a vital role in assisting our Sales Executives throughout the sales process by providing comprehensive technical expertise regarding our offerings and their applications within the Genomics and NGS Workflow.

Your Contributions:

Collaborate closely with Sales Executives as a product expert to facilitate, drive, and finalize sales opportunities. Conduct platform demonstrations and detailed presentations for clients, and engage in trade shows, vendor exhibitions, and technical/promotional seminars. Offer specialized knowledge across the entire spectrum of SOPHiA GENETICS products and services, including AI SaaS Solutions for managing and interpreting NGS Biomarkers and Laboratory Preparation. Collect and disseminate competitive market insights while fostering ongoing product development in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams. Assist in our expansion into multimodal data, delivering customer solutions across Genomics, Radiomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, and Transcriptomics.

Qualifications:

Your Expertise:

Prior experience in a commercial technical support capacity related to Genomics, such as Technical Specialist, Subject Matter Expert, Field Application Specialist, or Clinical Application Consultant. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of genomics, next-generation sequencing technologies, and associated applications. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field. Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying intricate scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a quick adaptability to new technologies and scientific advancements.
