The Head of Workplace, Facilities and Real Estate plays a pivotal role in delivering this vision through strategic planning and innovative solutions. With a focus on creating positive and inclusive work environments, this leader oversees all aspects of facilities management from soft services to real estate strategy.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in facilities management, real estate and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of driving change and innovation within organisations.
Key responsibilities include supporting the design and review of global workplace strategies, leading change management initiatives, identifying staffing needs, proactive planning and preparation of business cases, workplace strategy and design management, formulating strategic relationships with vendors, developing effective communication channels and managing key lease events.
- Soft Services Management: Ensure that FM, cleaning, reception, post/print room and catering services delivered by preferred suppliers meet site expectations, focusing on contract management through KPIs/SLAs.
- Real Estate Management: Oversee property portfolios including commercial/offices, R&D sites and supply chains, manage key lease events, collaborate with finance teams to ensure clear budgets are set based on each individual region/country/site strategy.
- Project Management: Lead CAPEX investments up to £20m for the region, ideate, design, manage and take responsibility for the delivery of transformation or major real estate projects.
