Market Access Strategist
The Market Access Strategist plays a pivotal role in ensuring patients' access to our medicines, adhering to marketing goals and ethical standards. This position involves developing and executing key accounts plans, integrating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining relationships with health managers, key opinion leaders, and payers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Access Strategies: Create strategies to increase patient access based on market analysis and business reviews.
- Manage Health Manager Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with State and Municipal Health Secretariats, DIR, DRS, Health Operators, medical auditors, and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBMs).
- Establish Key Opinion Leader Relations: Develop personal connections with influencers impacting the company's business.
- Analyze Account Information: Utilize data for strategic planning.
- Capture Industry Updates: Regularly collaborate with government and commercial functions to stay informed about industry developments.
- Foster Partnerships: Engage internal and external partners to create long-term partnerships for sustainable healthcare and patient programs.
- Collaborate with Medical Team: Work with the Medical team to analyze clinical data prospectively and retrospectively post-launch.
- Maintain High Standards: Ensure compliance with local laws, ethics, and social responsibility standards.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration: Minimum required, with possible scientific background.
- Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: At least 8 years of experience, preferably in a biopharmaceutical firm.
- Hematology/Oncology Expertise: Highly desirable, with experience in orphan diseases being a plus.
- P&L Management: Proven ability to manage profit and loss.
- Project Leadership: Demonstrated effectiveness as a project leader who achieves results.
- Leadership Skills: People management and leadership skills are essential.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is desirable.
Education:
Master's Degree in Business Administration with possible scientific background.
