Job Title: Laboratory Technician in Chemistry

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating, installing, and providing technical support for equipment, including phone and remote assistance, procedure development, and technical training.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Calibrating equipment to ensure accurate results.
  2. Installing and configuring equipment according to client specifications.
  3. Providing technical support to clients via phone or remote assistance.
  4. Developing and implementing standardized procedures for calibration, installation, and support.
  5. Collaborating with R&D teams for feedback and technological advancements.
  6. Maintaining accurate records of activities for traceability.
  7. Training clients and internal staff on equipment operation and best practices.
  8. Diagnosing defects and identifying needs to enhance equipment performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Desirable experience with analytical equipment and optical emission spectrometry.
  • Experience with metallic alloy analysis.
  • Knowledge of chemical and physical principles related to equipment operation.
  • Understanding calibration processes and material properties.
  • Enrolled in or completed a degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields.
  • Advanced reading and conversational English skills.
