Chemistry Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Chemistry Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of laboratory equipment and providing technical support as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience with calibration and installation of analytical equipment, as well as a strong understanding of chemical and physical principles related to equipment operation. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills and be able to train clients and internal staff on equipment operation and best practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Calibrating and installing equipment;
  • Providing technical support and conducting tests and analyses to evaluate equipment performance;
  • Maintaining accurate records of activities;
  • Training clients and internal staff on equipment operation and best practices;

Requirements include:

  • Category B driver's license;
  • Desirable experience with analytical equipment and optical emission spectrometry;
  • Experience with metallic alloy analysis;
  • Knowledge of chemical and physical principles related to equipment operation;
  • Understanding calibration processes and material properties;
  • Enrolled in or completed a degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields;
  • Advanced reading and conversational English skills;
