Role Summary

Job Description
  • This position is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by preparing technical reports, conducting adhesive testing, and maintaining equipment.

The Lab Technician IV plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analyses, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing technical reports for market-related laboratory investigations.
  • Providing quotations and purchasing recommendations for laboratory equipment.
  • Developing and managing a monthly purchasing plan for consumables.
  • Monitoring and reporting on Deviation of Analysis (DOA).
  • Offering internal technical support for new adhesive testing and customer complaints.
  • Conducting comparative testing and documenting results.
  • Analyzing physicochemical properties of adhesives and determining raw material approval or rejection.
  • Creating, validating, and implementing analytical methodologies.
  • Training interns during onboarding.
  • Participating in online client meetings to present technical reports.
  • Interfacing with suppliers for equipment acquisition and training.
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Complying with company ethics, quality, health, safety, and environmental policies.
Minimum Requirements
  • A Junior college degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Eight years of experience in laboratory work or technical support.
  • Strong hands-on laboratory skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in the adhesives or chemical industry.
  • Additonal certifications in laboratory analysis or equipment handling.
  • Proficiency in English and/or other relevant languages.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management systems or tools.
