Construction Industry Account Manager

The Client Advocate plays a pivotal role in the construction industry, fostering and strengthening relationships with clients.
This key client-facing role requires an in-depth understanding of the construction industry's unique challenges, risks, and regulatory landscape, enabling the Client Advocate to deliver tailored solutions that support clients' strategic and operational goals.
As a Client Advocate, you will lead Middle to Lower Middle Market accounts and support broader Middle Market engagements. You'll identify and develop new opportunities by expanding services, products, and solutions with existing clients.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the RFP process, participating in oral presentations, and helping shape compelling pitches.
The successful Client Advocate in the Construction IVD will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, effective management and mentoring of Associate Client Advocates, robust project management capabilities, clear and persuasive presentation skills, and industry-specific insight into construction-related risks, insurance needs, and regulatory requirements.
- Owns and drives client strategy
- Retains existing book of business, develops, and strengthens client relationships
- Maximizes the profitability of the client
A comfort level with developing innovative, client-centric solutions is essential. Additionally, collaborating with the Head of Client Advocacy on operational initiatives including training, performance metrics (KPIs), turnaround times, quality and adoption standards, and compliance-related matters is crucial.
