The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing transportation networks, integrating broader supply chain planning aspects.

  • Develop and maintain advanced network optimization models to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery speed across the supply chain.
  • Evaluate and refine existing optimization models, ensuring they accurately reflect current operational constraints, business objectives, and end-to-end supply chain impact.
  • Design and implement scalable processes for middle-mile lane planning, integrating with broader supply chain metrics such as cost, speed, and inventory placement.
  • Ensure alignment between operational planning cycles, guidance, and overall network strategy, including FC capacity, speed plans, and inventory positioning.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across finance, transportation, and network strategy teams to communicate short, mid, and long-term supply chain plans effectively.
  • Support central teams in developing comprehensive supply chain planning chapters for strategic documents and planning cycles.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the finance structure to validate numbers upfront and minimize rework.
  • Create and document overall processes, identify key stakeholders, map data flows, and determine required inputs and expected outputs across the supply chain network.
  • Lead initiatives to scale planning operations, reduce manual workload, and integrate benchmark tools and automation with the SC optimization team.
  • Continuously analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks in the network.
