Brazil Accountant Position

We are seeking a qualified accounting professional to join our team in Rio de Janeiro. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial processes, supporting accounting close routines, reconciling accounts, and managing transactions for reliable and efficient financial operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Close Routine Support: Participate in the accounting closing routine to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supplier Invoices Processing: Receive and process supplier invoices and billing statements in the ERP system.
  • Balance Sheet Analysis: Conduct analysis of Balance Sheet and PL accounts to identify areas for improvement and ensure balance sheet reconciliations are reliable and controlled.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Prepare bank reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Accounting Classifications and Transactions: Manage accounting classifications and transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A degree in accounting is required for this position.
  • Minimum 3-5 Years' Experience in Accounting: We require a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Advanced English Level: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this position.
  • Intermediary/Advanced Excel Level: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with advanced level skills preferred.
