Tax Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Tax Strategist to lead our tax efforts in Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement tax strategies that drive business growth while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Brazilian operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with corporate objectives and Brazilian legislation.

  • Monitor tax and regulatory changes, assess risks and opportunities, and implement required updates to processes and policies.

  • Manage and review the calculation of direct and indirect taxes, including preparation and submission of tax obligations.

  • Support tax audits, inspections, and interactions with regulatory bodies.

  • Collaborate closely with local and international teams, providing tax advisory support to business stakeholders.

  • Drive the development and improvement of tax processes, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation.

  • Represent the company in key tax discussions internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Business, Economics, or related fields (Postgraduate/Masters degree is a plus).

  • Solid experience in tax management, with deep knowledge of Brazilian direct and indirect taxes, as well as tax compliance processes.

  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment, ideally with experience in digital businesses, technology, fintech, or gaming sectors.

  • Previous experience in multinational environments or large corporations, preferably with international reporting lines.

  • Fluent English mandatory.

  • Hands-on profile, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, with a sense of urgency and excellent interpersonal skills.
