Technical Product Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering technical and engineering knowledge throughout the business. You will develop both internal and external relationships to attract new customers and develop current customers to help the business grow. You will help increase sales revenue and customer retention across both the UK and International markets in agreement with team goals.

You will work within the technical team supporting all departments of the business and building upon our engineering heritage. You will have the opportunity to take control and create your own success story as this team develops.

Your main duties will include:

  • Working to team and individual targets and goals
  • Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
  • Assisting with the launch of new products in line with Sales and Supply Chain plans
  • Providing technical and design improvements to current products for Marketing
  • Providing technical details for customers using our CAD services / files
  • Supporting Production with technical support and advice
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A strong customer focus
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software Solidworks, 3D modelling and rendering
  • Well-developed engineering skills
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to complete tasks in the required timescales
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A track record of technical support
  • A team player
  • A strong and positive communicator
  • Highly organised to set priorities
  • Up to date on modern engineering processes
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
