Quality Assurance Expert

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge AI platform.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing and executing test strategies across web UIs, APIs, and microservices.

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate product functionality.
  • Develop automated tests using Selenium or Cypress suites and validate REST endpoints with Postman.
  • Wire tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams for zero-touch deployments.
Key Responsibilities

Manual & Exploratory Testing: Create and maintain detailed test plans, exploratory charters, and regression checklists.

Test Automation: Build end-to-end UI tests (Selenium or Cypress) and API tests (Postman/Newman or similar).

API & Integration Testing: Validate REST/GraphQL endpoints, data flows, and backend integrations.

Bug Tracking & Reporting: Reproduce, triage, and track defects in Jira; verify fixes and prevent regressions.

CI/CD Quality Gates: Embed automated tests into Git-based pipelines; block faulty builds and surface metrics.

Scripting & Tooling: Write lightweight Bash or Python scripts to seed data, mock services, or extend frameworks.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

You'll Excel in This Role If You:
  • Have Strong Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: Proficient in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Are Experienced in Test Automation: Hands-on with Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Newman, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Understand API Architecture: Familiar with validating request/response payloads, headers, auth flows, and error handling.
  • Can Track & Triage Defects Effectively: Skilled at creating clear, actionable Jira tickets that engineers love.
  • Think in Pipelines: Understand how QA fits into DevOps and can wire tests into CI.
  • Code Efficiently: Proficient in Bash, Python, or TypeScript for crafting helpers, stubs, or data generators.

Bonus Points: Experience using LLMs or AI tools to auto-generate test cases, data, or scripts.
