Cybersecurity specialists play a critical role in safeguarding an organization's digital assets. This position involves implementing and managing security measures to prevent cyber threats, responding to incidents, and continuously improving the security posture.

• Compliance and Audit: Ensure all security controls are in place, collect evidence, and maintain documentation to support compliance and audit activities.

• User Access Reviews: Perform regular user access reviews, enforce identity and access management (IAM) policies, and ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive information.

• Mobile Device Management: Administer and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, endpoint security tools, and related IT systems to ensure secure access to company data.

• Blue Team Activities: Participate in blue team activities, including security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

• Cloud Security: Assist with cloud security reviews, configuration hardening, and monitoring to ensure the security of cloud-based applications and data.

• IT Support: Provide IT support for security-related tasks, such as endpoint onboarding, secure configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation of security systems.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and other teams to implement security best practices and resolve technical issues to improve overall security posture.

• Documentation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Solid understanding of IAM principles and practices, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting.

• Compliance Frameworks: Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR/LGPD, NIST, etc., and ability to apply them to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their associated security risks and controls, including configuration hardening and monitoring.

• Endpoint Management: Exposure to endpoint management, MDM solutions, and IT support tools, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting.

• Security Operations: Exposure to security operations, monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR), and incident response processes, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different teams to resolve complex technical issues.

• Communication: Advanced English language skills for collaborating with remote team members and customers, including written and verbal communication.

• Certifications: IT and cybersecurity certifications are a plus, but not required, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.

• Scripting Skills: Scripting skills with languages such as Python, PowerShell, Go, and/or Bash, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting.
