Finance Lead Role

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Lead to drive transformation and cost excellence at our manufacturing facilities. This key role will oversee cost accounting operations, provide actionable insights, and collaborate with leadership to improve processes and achieve plant performance goals.

  • Lead Cost Accounting: Manage all cost accounting functions, including standard and actual cost development, product costing analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Business Partner: Collaborate closely with the Director of Manufacturing to drive strategic planning processes for the Bethlehem & Philadelphia manufacturing facilities.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Deliver data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability, manage and document cost savings projects, and analyze performance to explain results and identify inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Forecasts and Projections: Create forecasts and projections as well as gauge performance versus plan and recommend actions to improve and enhance profitability and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and cost-saving proposals.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement on costs, material yields, capacity, and equipment utilization.
Your Qualifications That Ensure Success:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required. Focus or major in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics or related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Plant Finance and/or Cost Accounting, preferably within a consumer products environment. Experience directly supporting plant / manufacturing operation is required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in advanced Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables) is necessary. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence, manage, and motivate teams while fostering collaboration and results-driven performance.
