Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our accounting operations, producing periodic financial reports, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management in preparing financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
- Review external accounting provider's monthly reports for timeliness and accuracy;
- Prepare and forecast cash flow in collaboration with the AR/AP financial coordinator;
- Monitor and control business performance by comparing realized results with budgeted expectations;
- Coordinate annual budget process and monthly financial forecast, cash flow forecast;
- Act as a financial business partner in key business processes;
- Lead and monitor financial operational risk management;
- Collaborate on projects and assignments working with key areas and team members.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a 4-year College or university
Experience:
- 4+ years of bookkeeping experience;
- 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience;
Technical Skills:
- Robust knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks;
- ACCA/CIMA/CCAB or equivalent qualifications are a bonus;
- Effective communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team;

- Effective communication skills;

- Must uphold a professional demeanor and confidentiality;
- Highly organized and detail oriented;
- Excellent data entry and scheduling skills;
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines;

- Possess strong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail;
