Data Insights Specialist
Description:We are seeking an experienced Data Insights Specialist to join our team. As a Microstrategy Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across leading organizations.
The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to deliver tailored solutions in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Project Management. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics into portals or web applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality reports, dashboards, dossiers, and documents using MicroStrategy 2021+ or 2024.x
- Utilize SQL (Structured Query Language) skills to design and optimize schema objects and application objects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security requirements and implement object-level security and access control lists (ACLs)
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics into portals or web applications
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of MicroStrategy development experience, including reports, dashboards, dossiers, and documents
- Hands-on expertise in MicroStrategy Workstation for metadata management and object promotion
- Strong experience with SQL (Structured Query Language) – moderate to expert level, including tuning queries
- Demonstrated experience creating schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, transformations) and application objects (metrics, filters, prompts)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams
