Senior HR Business Partner Job Overview

This role involves implementing and executing strategic human resources policies and processes across assigned business units. To be successful, one must have a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to support employees and leaders effectively.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned business units and geographies.
  • Provide comprehensive human resources support to employees and leaders with minimal guidance required.
  • Develop strong relationships with HR specialist functions and centers of excellence.
  • Support line managers in new employee orientation where applicable.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reviews and propose recommendations on employment legislation compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior HR team members to develop and implement redesign initiatives.
  • Coordinate with business leaders on organizational effectiveness and change management efforts.
  • Support merger and acquisitions due diligence processes and integration.

Key responsibilities include providing reports and analyses, participating in continuous improvement activities, and promoting a professional HR organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 4+ years experience within an HR function as an HR generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience.
  • English language proficiency with written and verbal communications.
  • Extensive knowledge of United States Federal and state employment legislation, policies, and standards.
  • Experience supporting US-based employees and global employees.
  • Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Expert-level Excel skills, including experience with data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a matrixed team.
