We are seeking a skilled costume designer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sewing and assembly tasks in a series of pieces, guided by models or specifications.
Main duties include operating various types of machines; organizing the workspace; preparing samples; assembling pieces according to standards and procedures; aligning and sewing different parts using common tools and machines; ensuring assembly according to instructions while minimizing material waste.
In this role, you will work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Sewing and assembly in series of pieces;
- Operating machines including straight stitch, overlock, coverstitch, interlock, and/or triple transport machines;
- Organizing workspace and preparing machines and samples;
- Assembling pieces according to standards and procedures;
- Aligning and sewing different parts using common tools and machines;
- Ensuring assembly according to instructions while minimizing material waste;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with sewing and assembly;
- Proficiency with various types of machines;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
