Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced SolidWorks Vault Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for administering our SolidWorks Vault system, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing user access, permissions, and licenses, as well as implementing automation and creating process documents around best practices.

You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure seamless SolidWorks upgrades and implement drawing reviews through SolidWorks Vault. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively train and support our teams.

As a self-motivated team player, you will be able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects while maintaining your own productivity. You will also have the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Our ideal candidate has experience with CAD modeling, PLM, and Revision Control Management, as well as knowledge of common PC-based applications such as Word, Excel, Visio, PPT, MSProject, and more. Bonus points if you have experience working with Solar or renewable energy and have knowledge of NetSuite, Arena, Miro, Jira, Confluence, or SolidWorks and Arena Integration.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer SolidWorks Vault system, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
  • Manage user access, permissions, and licenses
  • Implement automation and create process documents around best practices
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless SolidWorks upgrades
  • Implement drawing reviews through SolidWorks Vault
  • Develop and maintain training materials and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Experience with SolidWorks ePDM and Vault management
  • Strong understanding of PLM and Revision Control Management
  • Knowledge of CAD modeling and SOLIDWORKS software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Solar or renewable energy
  • CAD modeling experience
  • Management experience
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Arena, Miro, Jira, Confluence, or SolidWorks and Arena Integration
