Latin America Base Oil Trader

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive physical base oil trading across Brazil and wider Latin America.
- This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and executing profitable deals aligned with market opportunities.
- The successful candidate will establish long-term partnerships with refiners, blenders, and distributors.
- They will also coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Additionally, the individual will monitor regional supply-demand trends and contribute to global trading strategies.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in physical oil or base oil trading and apply it to the rapidly growing markets of Latin America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive physical base oil trading across Brazil and wider Latin America.
- SOURCE, NEGOTIATE, AND EXECUTE PROFITABLE DEALS ALIGNED WITH MARKET OPPORTUNITIES.
- ESTABLISH LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIPS WITH REFINERS, BLENDERS, AND DISTRIBUTORS.
- CORRDINATE WITH OPERATIONS, LOGISTICS, AND FINANCE TO ENSURE TIMELY AND EFFICIENT DELIVERIES.
- MULTI-TASK AND PRIORITIZE DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES.
Requirements:
- SEVERAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PHYSICAL OIL OR BASE OIL TRADING.
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF LATIN AMERICAN BASE OIL AND LUBRICANTS MARKETS.
- PROVEN ABILITY TO ORIGINATE AND GROW TRADING FLOWS IN EMERGING MARKETS.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING SKILLS.
- FLUENCY IN PORTUGUESE AND ENGLISH; SPANISH DESIRABLE.
