We are partnering with a dynamic international energy trading company to find an experienced professional to join our team in Latin America, based in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive physical base oil trading across Brazil and wider Latin America.
- Source, negotiate, and execute profitable deals aligned with market opportunities.
- Establish long-term partnerships with refiners, blenders, and distributors.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Monitor regional supply-demand trends and contribute to global trading strategies.
- Several years of experience in physical oil or base oil trading.
- Strong knowledge of Latin American base oil and lubricants markets.
- Proven ability to originate and grow trading flows in emerging markets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish desirable.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the commodities industry, particularly in physical oil or base oil trading. They should have strong knowledge of the Latin American market and be able to establish relationships with key stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
