A key opportunity exists for a seasoned underwriter to drive financial modeling and strategic renewal planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client-ready financial models, pricing scenarios, and presenting actionable insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop budget and renewal analyses by creating comprehensive financial models and pricing scenarios to inform health coverage decisions.
  • Collaborate with consultants to present financial data and strategic renewal plans to clients, providing expertise and guidance throughout the process.
  • Design, update, and maintain complex underwriting, rating, and contribution models; facilitate colleague training as needed.
  • Partner with colleagues to obtain and interpret new carrier product information, ensuring accurate pricing and client renewals.
  • Conduct peer reviews of client deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and exceptional quality.
Qualifications
  • Hold active State Life & Health Licenses with a strong foundation in employee benefits.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of financial arrangements and underwriting principles, particularly in health programs.
  • Possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exhibit outstanding organizational abilities and proficiency in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
