Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at McDermott. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating, reviewing, revising, and managing methods of administering policies and procedures of the Human Resources Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the human resources information system, ensuring proper input, training, changes, and reporting.
- Monitor changes in government regulations and ensure implementation by affected departments or groups.
- Coordinate and supervise activities of Human Resources Generalists and Administrators.
- Perform or approve human resource reporting to management, government agencies, and others.
- Receive complaints or charges from employees, contractors, customers, and government agencies, and respond formally on behalf of the company.
- Monitor wage or salary and benefits or similar industries and make recommendations as needed.
- Manage recruitment activity for the facility or country that they are supporting.
- Administer the anti-drug policy.
- Responsible for onboarding new hires and inter-company transfers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent preferred.
- 6 to 10+ years of relevant professional HR experience (4+ years in a leadership role) for a large global corporation.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and proven ability to work well with employees and management.
- Effective communication and management skills are needed.
- Human Resources certification is a plus.
