Key Responsibilities- Lead and grow a high-performing team within assigned accounts, driving immediate and sustained benefits to our clients and organization.
- Provide strategic vision and direction for all sourcing aspects of business, including best practices and innovation.
- Develop and implement complex sourcing strategies, effectively managing suppliers and internal networks to deliver best-in-class performance.
- Oversee portfolio compliance and controls, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Proactively manage internal and external expectations, understanding business needs and priorities.
- Oversight of annual sourcing plans, actively managing those plans with the business and executing against them.
- Identify risks and opportunities to stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
- Own sourcing compliance and controls, identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement with functional leaders.
- Ensure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across assigned accounts.
- Partner closely with operations teams to support standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
- Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top talent within the sourcing function.
- Support career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
- Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams committed to delivering operational excellence.
- Manage and coach teams on performance, progress, and developmental goals.
- Ensure client sourcing plans are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.
- Participate in client meetings/strategy sessions as needed.
- Establish relationships within assigned portfolio, including managing directors and account directors.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Influential leadership – persuasive and instills confidence among stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach – works effectively across matrix organizations.
- Company and Industry Knowledge – demonstrated understanding of our industry and competitive landscape.
- Client Centric – ability to lead with a focus on client needs.
- Negotiation Skills – ability to bridge differences to deliver win-win agreements.
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience in services or indirect categories related to facilities services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- MBA or CPM certification a plus.
- Excellent PC skills and proficient in MS applications.
- E-procurement experience preferably in Jaggaer.
